A GW staff member reported the theft of her wallet from her office. She later observed fraudulent charges on her credit card.

The University Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious odor. House staff conducted an administrative search, which yielded 11 grams of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia.

A student discharged a fire extinguisher into another student’s room.

Simple Assault/Liquor Law Violation

500 block of 19th Street
8/27/13 – 1:50 to 2:55 a.m.
Case closed
UPD officers responded to multiple activated blue lights to find a male student and an unaffiliated male subject fighting. The unaffiliated man fled before being apprehended a short distance away. No injuries were reported. The student said he had been drinking and was allowed to leave, while the unaffiliated subject was banned from campus.

Simple Assault/Panhandling

A female student reported that a panhandler acted aggressively toward her. A man had asked her for change, but when she walked past, he grabbed her shoulder, turned her around and shoved his cup in her face. She kept walking and he shouted profanities at her.
