Theft

Virginia Science and Technology – Campus Date and time unknown – Open case
A staff member reported a large TV missing on March 26. The TV, which the University rented, has since been recovered, but the search for a suspect is ongoing.

Destruction

Old Main Garage – Date and time unknown – Case closed
A staff member reported that one of the pins on the exterior garage door arm had been damaged, leading to suspicion that someone had broken into the garage.
No suspects or witnesses

Thurston Hall 03/29/13 – 5:14 p.m. – Case closed
A student reported to the University Police Department that he had kicked in his own door when he couldn’t get it open with his key.
Referred for disciplinary action

Simple Assault

22 and I streets 03/30/13 – 11 p.m. – Case closed
UPD arrived to break up an altercation. One male GW student had punched another male student in the face. Neither suffered significant injuries and both declined to press charges when Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived.
Referred to MPD

Unlawful Entry

JBKO Hall 03/31/13 – 2:14 a.m. – Case closed
UPD responded to reports of a male subject unaffiliated with the University knocking on doors. He told officers that he was looking for his room in the Allen Lee Hotel.
Subject barred from campus
