University Police officers arrested a man in Ivory Tower Monday after he allegedly tried to make off with five laptops, two iPads and a Wii game system.

The man, who broke into fifth-floor rooms, hid the property in stolen luggage, UPD Chief Kevin Hay said. Officers received a tip from a student in Ivory Tower and stopped the man as he tried to flee campus.

Both UPD and the Metropolitan Police Department are on the case.
