Women’s basketball graduate student forward Tara Booker is a member of College Sports Madness’ Atlantic 10 preseason first team, announced earlier today.

Last season, she paced GW in rebounding, with 7.0 per game, blocks, with 1.1 per game, field goal percentage, at .429, three-point baskets made, with 47 and three-point percentage, at .353. Booker ranked second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.0 points per game and in steals, averaging 2.0 steals per game. She was also one of just two Colonials to start all of GW’s 29 games.

Booker will enter the 2012-13 season sixth all-time in program history in career three-pointers, with 162, and 13th all-time in rebounds, with 599 career boards.
