Four males and one female were arrested early Saturday morning following an assault on two police officers.
The Metropolitan Police Department officers were attempting to arrest one male for disorderly conduct around 2:10 a.m. at McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon when the other patrons began assaulting the officers, MPD Public Information Officer Hugh Carew said.
The individuals ranged from 21 to 41 in age, Carew said.
The woman was also transported to the hospital, MPD Captain Gerry Scott said. Officers surrounded her as she laid on the ground after the arrests, and then escorted into an ambulance around 2:15 a.m.
A manager from McFadden’s could not be reached for comment.
