Junior Autumn Taylor is the Atlantic 10 Softball Player of the Week, after leading the Colonials in victories against George Mason and St. Bonaventure last week.

Taylor hit a double and two home runs in three contests, while also scoring six runs and driving home six. In the opening game of GW’s doubleheader against St. Bonaventure, she recorded a four-hit performance. In the third inning, the outfielder hit a two-run home run – her 10th of the season – tying the single-season program record set by Jackie Yaniga in 2005.

Taylor leads GW with 30 RBIs and 21 extra-base hits for the season. The Colonials visit Saint Louis for their regular-season finale Saturday, where Taylor will test her seven-game hitting streak.
