Karl Rove, a former adviser to President George W. Bush, will speak to the Young America’s Foundation and College Republicans April 30 about the political landscape for the upcoming presidential election.
The former deputy chief of staff will speak in Funger Hall room 103 at 7 p.m. Students do not need to register beforehand for the event.
Chris Wassman, public relations chair for the College Republicans, said the group invited Rove to speak about what the Republican party needs to do to beat President Barack Obama.
Rove has spoken on campus twice since 2008, drawing attention for his remarks about the emergence of the Tea Party and his defense of the Iraq War.
