The Hatchet’s editorial staff elected junior Priya Anand as its editor in chief early Tuesday morning.
Anand – an international affairs major from Morganville, N.J., – has served as an editor since her sophomore year, covering academics, campus crime, the Foggy Bottom community and the District.
She serves as The Hatchet’s metro news editor.
Anand will take the helm of the paper, pending approval by The Hatchet’s Board of Directors, in May.
