MotherTongue, a community-based organization that encourages women to express themselves through the art of spoken word, will be hosting its annual “Anti-Valentine’s Day Slam” at Black Cat Monday night. Admission is $8 starting at 8 p.m.
- The National Portrait Gallery is hosting a special exhibition for Valentine’s Day, “Portraits After 5: Art of Love,” from 5 to 7 p.m in Kogod Courtyard. Admission is free, but RSVP to participate in the speed dating event that will accompany the exhibit.
