The final week of classes is upon us! As you count down the time left till winter break, here are some ways to enjoy your last few exam-free days on campus this semester:

  • The Capitol Christmas Tree. Photo used under Creative Commons License.

Take some time to relax and experience American art at the Renwick Gallery. The exhibit, “Something of Splendor,” features decorative art pieces from the White House.

  • The Capitol Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will be held Tuesday at 5 m on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Enjoy music played by the U.S. Navy Band throughout the ceremony.
  • The Downtown D.C. Holiday Market will occupy the F Street sidewalk in front of the National Portrait Gallery now through Dec. 23, offering gifts for purchase from over 180 vendors.

And here’s something exciting for the holidays:
Beyonce’s baby is due this month! I can’t wait to hear what names she has in mind.
