ESPN Hoopgurlz released its ranking of the 2012 recruiting classes for women’s basketball today, placing GW at No. 60.

The site ranks based solely on high school prospect signings, and the rankings are decided by the ESPN HoopGurlz ranking panel. The Colonials will welcome four new players to the court next season, Anjaleace White, a 6-foot-2 center from Newark, Del., Dalacy Anderson, a 6-foot-2 forward from Bolingbrook, Ill., Aaliyah Brown, a 5-foot-8 guard from League City, Texas, and Alexis Chandler, a 5-foot-9 guard from Cypress, Texas.

“This class addresses every need that we, as a program, will have next season,” Bozeman said Nov. 14. “All of these girls are proven winners and they will improve the overall talent of the team to the necessary level that will allow us to compete nationally.”

The four recruits will look to fill the holes in GW’s roster left by the departures of this year’s Colonial senior class: center Sara Mostafa, forward Tara Booker, guard Tiana Myers and guard Kristin Aldridge.

Only one other Atlantic 10 program made ESPN’s list: Dayton, at No. 31.
