Theft

2/24/11 – 11:30 p.m. Location: Lerner Health and Wellness Center Open case

A student reported to UPD that he left his wallet unattended and when he returned, a credit card was missing. He later noticed unauthorized purchases charged to his account.

A GW employee reported to UPD that a jacket was left in a room, and several days later, the jacket was missing.

2/26/11 – 9:40 a.m. Location: Academic Center Case closed

A student reported to UPD that she secured her bicycle in the academic breezeway and it was later missing.

Drug Law Violation

2/23/11 – 2:15 a.m. Location: JBKO Hall Case closed

University Police Department officers responded to a report of a suspicious odor. GW Housing Programs staff conducted an administrative search, yielding 14.5 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

UPD responded to a report of GW Housing Programs staff conducting an administrative search, which yielded 6 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

UPD responded to a report of a patient who began cursing at a staff member when told he had to reschedule an appointment he had arrived late for.

UPD responded to a report of an intoxicated subject unaffiliated with GW. She was assessed and transported to GW Hospital.

Unlawful Entry

2/27/11 – 3:42 a.m. Location: City Hall Case closed

UPD responded to a report of a suspicious person who piggybacked into the building, or came in behind someone else. Officers made contact with the subject as he was leaving. The subject was identified and barred from campus.
