Second robbery in less than 24 hours reported

The second University Crime Alert about an alleged robbery in 24 hours was sent out Wednesday evening.

The e-mail states that a female was at 22nd and H streets when two young black males grabbed an iPhone out of the female’s hands and fled towards Foggy Bottom Metro station. Both the University Police Department and the Metropolitan Police Department were unable to find the suspects, according to the Crime Alert. The alert describes one of the suspect as a black male around the ages of 16 with a short afro, wearing a red, brown and black North Face jacket and jeans. The other is described as 5-feet tall “with corn rows, wearing a black jacket and jeans.”

Last night, a Crime Alert e-mail was sent out reporting an alleged robbery near 25th and I Streets earlier Tuesday evening.
