$5 – $10 – $20: A weekly entertainment guide for the cash-strapped college student

If you have $5: Jenga is hard sober. Now, with $2 drink specials at the Rock and Roll Hotel, spend Thursdays perfecting your (drunken) technique. Free admission for 21+.

If you have $10: The Vinyl District, a blog, is hosting a concert in support of the Fort Reno Summer Concert series at St. Stephen’s Church in Columbia Heights April 17. Tickets are $10, but if you bring a receipt from any local record store (dated April 17), you’ll get half off of admission.

If you have $20: Check out Bhangra Blowout at D.A.R. Constitution Hall April 17. Eight teams will participate in the competition, which explores a high-energy Indian dance form. Tickets start at $30.
