The Hatchet staff elected Lauren French to be its next editor in chief last night. Pending approval from The Hatchet’s Board of Directors, French will take the reins on April 27.
A sophomore and Florida native, she has worked at The Hatchet since the beginning of her freshman year. She currently serves as an assistant news editor. French hopes to continue expanding The Hatchet’s Web and social media presence.
