President Obama and his family have arrived at today’s GW men’s basketball game against Oregon State, entering Smith Center through a tent and covered walkway on the F Street entrance. They are being seated directly behind the Beavers’ bench.

The president is shaking hands with just about everybody he passes, including a number of students, fans and game employees. He is currently watching the Colonials shoot around. The first lady clapped as GW’s own First Ladies dance team took the floor. Members of the student section chanted “Obama” as he greeted them.

First lady Michelle Obama is the younger sister of Oregon State head coach Craig Robinson. The Beavers met the president at the White House yesterday.
