$7,000 stolen from student’s room in Mitchell Hall

An unidentified person stole $7,000 from a GW student’s room two weeks ago, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

The thief forced open the door of Anthony Suber’s room in Mitchell Hall and stole a black safe, a green wallet and $7,000 in U.S. currency, the police report states. The robber entered the room between 11:50 p.m on Jan. 22 and 4 a.m. on Jan. 23, according to the report.

Suber declined to comment.
