Fraud

11/19/08 – Various locations – open case

A male student reported to the University Police Department that he lost his GWorld card, which had been used at various locations on campus. Case open

Unlawful Entry

11/20/08 – 7:40 a.m. – Gelman Library – case closed

UPD responded to Starbucks for a report of a male loiterer, who was previously barred from campus. UPD arrested him for unlawful entry. Subject arrested

Liquor Law Violation

11/20/08 – 11:10 p.m. – Public property on campus – case closed

An officer observed a male student vomiting on the side of the street. When the officer approached him, he tried to flee the area and entered a car that his friend was driving. When the officer approached him again, he lied about his identity. Officers assessed him and transported him to the GW Hospital. Referred to Student

Unlawful Entry

11/20/08 – 11:55 p.m. – International House – case closed

A female not affiliated with the University was found sleeping in the loading dock of International House. She was barred from campus and escorted out of the area. Subject barred from
campus

A male not affiliated with the University was found sleeping in the fifth-floor lounge of Marvin Center. He had previously been barred from campus and officers arrested him for unlawful entry.

Subject arrested

A member of facilities management found a female not affiliated with the University sleeping in the bathroom on the second floor of the Academic Center. The subject said she was trying to stay out of the cold. She had been barred from campus two hours earlier, and the officer called the District of Columbia Hypothermia Unit to transport her to a shelter.

No further action

Threats

11/24/08 – 11:30 a.m. – Public property on campus – case closed

A staff member in the Law School reported that a male student was threatening another student. When UPD responded, they interviewed the student and he confirmed that he was making threats. Referred to SJS
