Men’s water polo

The men’s water polo team finished its disappointing regular season with two losses, dropping its record to 7-19 overall and 1-7 in the CWPA’s Southern Division. The Colonials lost to No. 15 Princeton 17-7 Saturday, then followed it up with a 13-8 loss to No. 18 Brown the same day. Both games were played at Princeton’s DeNunzio Pool. GW now awaits seeding for CWPA SouthernDivision Championship, held Nov. 7-9 at Princeton.

Swimming

GW men’s and women’s swimming teams combined for a 3-1 record in their Saturday meet against Georgetown and Providence Saturday at Georgetown’s Yates Field House. Both Colonials teams beat their Princeton counterparts handily (187-99 for the men, 197-86 for the women), but the men lost to Georgetown 160-133. GW’s women narrowly beat Georgetown 150-143.
