Check out the newest student theater production, “The Point of No Return,” in Mitchell Theater (19th St. between E and F N.W.) Thursday night at 7 and 10 p.m. and Friday night at 10 p.m. Written and directed by GW senior Stephanie Gardner, with music by Campbell Charshee, the play takes place on an airplane “where temptation rules and all sin is fair game.” Sexy. Tickets are $5 at the door.

If you have $10

ESA is hosting their second annual Battle of the Bands to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital tonight Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the Marvin Center Continental Ballroom. Competing bands include The Fighting James, The White Hat, Kill Lincoln, Roma Condo and Famous Corners. Tickets are only $5, so use your leftover money to purchase raffle tickets to win a cool prize.

If you have $20

Songstress Ingrid Michaelson is headlining a show at GW’s Lisner Auditorium (21st and H streets N.W.) on Friday to promote Rock Music and Health in D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Michaelson’s music has been gaining in popularity after several of her songs were featured on the hit show “Grey’s Anatomy.” Tickets are $15 for GW students.
