King out for the season

Sophomore Travis King is having surgery tomorrow on his right knee, which will sideline him for the remainder of the season. The point guard, who missed the preseason game and the season opener against Mount St. Mary’s Nov. 10 and played one minute against Boston University Nov. 14, said he will redshirt this season.

King suffered a stress fracture to his knee cap during a pickup game Nov. 15. His surgery will be at GW Hospital.
