Use it to take the Metro to Federal Triangle for a free M.C. Hammer concert Thursday. Hosted by the D.C. Grooves concert series, the show is located at the Ronald Reagan building at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW and runs from 7-9 p.m. Arguably one of the greatest rapper/dancer/baggy pants wearer of all time, M.C. Hammer will be performing such classics “U Can’t Touch This” and “2 Legit to Quit.”

If you have $10

Head over to Adams Morgan for some of the most delicious, authentic take-out Mexican food the District has to offer. Pepitos Tacos and Bakery, located at 1762 Columbia Rd. NW, offers mouth-watering homemade Mexican dishes, tortas (Mexican sub sandwiches,) and baked goods, including their famous tres-leches cake and Mexican pastries. Eat on the counter, or take your food to a nearby park for a unique treat.

If you have $20

Catch the new comedy play “Private Lives” at the Playbill Caf?, 1409 14th St., NW. Presented by the Washington Shakespeare Company, the play centers around two couples that swap partners. The show starts at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday and Sunday. Arrive early to enjoy dinner and drinks at the caf? before the show.
