Senate unable to vote on bills; meeting ends in 90 min.

The Student Association Senate meeting adjourned in less than 90 minutes tonight in the Marvin Center with no debate or vote on two Senate bills.

Although the meeting did not lose quorum, the Senate was one voting member short of being able to vote on the two pieces of legislation.

SA Sen. George Blair’s (ESIA-U) student fee increase bill was sent to the Finance Committee and SA Sen. Chloe Lew’s (FYNV) bill to amend the structure of the SA agenda was postponed to the next Senate meeting.
