Men’s Water Polo

The men’s water polo team dropped two of three games Thursday and Friday in California. The Colonials (7-8) lost 12-9 at Claremont-Mudd Scripps in Claremont, Calif., Thursday, followed by a 10-8 defeat to #20 Cal Baptist in Riverside, Calif., Friday morning. That afternoon, the squad beat Occidental 14-4 in Riverside.

Volleyball

Although three players registered double-digit kills and a 35-33 victory in the first set, the volleyball team dropped the next three sets 30-15, 30-16, 30-25 for a 3-1 loss at Charlotte Saturday afternoon. Senior Juliene McLaughlin and junior Janine Brown each had 15 kills, while senior Abba Greenleaf added 12 kills, 11 digs and a career-high six blocks for the Colonials (8-9, 1-4 Atlantic 10).

Men’s Soccer

The men’s soccer team were shut out 2-0 Sunday at Charlotte. Senior Chris Arnold broke the scoreless tie in the 67th minute, followed by a score three minutes later by classmate Evan Harding. The Colonials drop to 4-6-1 and 1-2 in the Atlantic 10.
