9/29 – Fulbright Hall – 5:40 p.m. – case closed
The University Police Department received a report that a fire alarm had been falsely pulled in Fulbright Hall. Upon arrival, UPD discovered that the plastic cover had been pulled off, which triggered the alarm. A student reported she heard people throwing a baseball in the hallway before the alarm sounded. Officers believe the baseball hit the cover and activated the alarm.
No suspects or witnesses

Liquor Law Violation

9/29 – Thurston Hall – 1:58 a.m. – case closed
A female attempted to enter Thurston without identification. She was not a student and appeared to be intoxicated. UPD officers determined she was underage. After assessing her condition, the officers decided she did not need further medical attention.
Subject barred from campus

10/1 – New Hall – 1:31 a.m. – case closed
UPD received a report of an intoxicated male student in a New Hall bathroom. EMeRG was notified and contacted D.C. Fire, which transported the student to the GW Hospital for further medical treatment.

Drug Law Violation

9/27 – Thurston Hall – 10:03 a.m. – case closed
GW Housing Programs saw drug paraphernalia in a Thurston quad during a random health and safety inspection and notified UPD. Upon searching the room, UPD officers found 3.5 grams of marijuana. The paraphernalia also tested positive for marijuana.

Threats

9/27 – Marvin Center – 5:00 p.m. – case closed
A student who works at the ticket counter in the Marvin Center alleged that an unknown female threatened her. The student said the female came to the ticket booth and asked for tickets. The student replied that none were available. The female suspect then left a rude note by the glass window and walked away.
No identifiable suspects
