Disorderly Conduct

9/14 – Aston Hall – 6:33 p.m. – case closed
A man who is a permanent resident in the Aston became disruptive and yelled at a University Police officer in the lobby. The man was upset that he had to show ID to an officer who was stationed at the residence hall because a malfunctioning door allowed access to non-residents. After calming down, the resident showed the officer his ID and was allowed to proceed to his apartment.

Liquor Law Violation

9/16 – Thurston Hall – 2:50 a.m. – case closed
UPD responded to an anonymous call and observed an underage male student being carried into Thurston by another male student. The student being carried was highly intoxicated and incoherent. Officers reported that the student had clearly vomited. EMeRG was contacted, who then contacted D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services, who transported the student to GW Hospital for medical treatment.

9/16 – Fulbright Hall – 3:58 a.m. – case closed
UPD responded to Fulbright Hall and observed an underage female student, who was conscious and breathing, having a seizure. EMeRG was contacted and FEMS was dispatched to the scene. An ambulance transported the student to GW Hospital where she received further medical attention.

Drug Law Violation

9/16 – Francis Scott Key Hall – 11:00 a.m. – case closed
The incident was initially called in as a simple assault. Officers were called to the scene by a male roommate who alleged his roommate choked him and threw his cell phone against the wall. UPD notified the community director, who conducted an administrative search. Upon searching the room, the director discovered alcohol, drug paraphernalia and a trace amount of marijuana. Both individuals were underage.

Unlawful Entry

9/16 – Lerner Health and Wellness Center – 8:00 p.m. – case closed
UPD responded to a call from an employee, who indicated that there was an individual in the building not affiliated with GW. The employee believed the man entered through a back door. UPD found the individual and escorted him out of the building.

Liquor Law Violation

9/17 – Thurston Hall – 3:35 a.m. – case closed
UPD officers responded to a loud noise complaint. When a student answered the door, the officers saw there was a party with alcohol. The 11 individuals, who were all underage, were assessed as fit to leave the area without medical attention. The eight GW students were sent to their respective residence halls, and the three non-GW students were barred from campus.
