The Hatchet erroneously reported on August 30 that GW’s new food-service provider, Sodexho, is paying the University $112 million to house its food venues on campus (“Two eateries to open late,” p.1). The $112 million is the projected sales Sodexho hopes to earn at GW over the 10-year course of its contract.
In the same article, The Hatchet mistakenly described the new Grounds for Change coffee shop as a “free-trade” establishment. It receives its coffee products from a “fair-trade” provider.
