Monday’s front page

The front page of Monday’s Hatchet is basketball heavy. The five-column photo across the top is pretty cool, and was done by Jeff Baum.

Now the real meat comes in with the story about Omar Williams. I spoke to Vice-President Chernak, Tracy Schario, and Coach Hobbs. Coach Hobbs called me back and spoke to me very candidly about the situation regarding Omar and how he feels. Hobbs is hurt. There is no question about that. He feels like Omar was unfairly portrayed and I think I tried to show that in my story.

Hobbs also said that he felt the story was competitvely motivated. Take a look at it. Hobbs uncut.
