Corrections

Thursday’s Snapshot photo caption (p. 2) erroneously stated that Lent is a time when “Catholics practice self-denial to remember the 40 days Moses and his followers spent in the desert.” Lent is actually a time when Catholics recall Jesus’ 40 days in the desert. Also, Moses spent 40 years in the desert.

A photo caption on page one (March 2) misidentified a member of the GW Bands. The female in the photo is freshman Lisa Gabor, not freshman Kat Overland.

The Hatchet erroneously reported in “An Olympic boyfriend” (March 2, p. 1) that gold medalist Joey Cheek would be pursuing his graduate degree. Cheek will be applying to colleges for his undergraduate degree.
