Does the fact that voters can not see our games on TV hurt us in the ranking decisions?
Great question, AAQ. Some of these questions were answered in our ranking story.
GW athletic director Jack Kvancz said that he and assistant athletic director Dom Perno spend a lot of time on the phone with coaches from around the nation and they often mention how the team’s doing. Now, with the men at 16-1, the record speaks for itself. If GW wins on Thursday against Xavier, it will boost them exponentially because the game is on national television.
So in essence the answer to your question is yes. It hurts a bit but the game versus Xavier and the final game with Charlotte should be huge exposure for the Colonials.
