In the story “Georgetown Waterfront to get facelift,” (Dec. 5, p. 6), the construction phases were wrongly identified. Fundraising for Phase I of the construction, which will include a labyrinth, is completed; groundbreaking will take place shortly. Phase II, which includes an interactive fountain, still needs $4 million in fundraising before construction can begin. Also, the Georgetown Waterfront Campaign Committee, not the Georgetown Waterfront Commission, has helped raise $6 million thus far.
A photo caption on the front page of the Dec. 8 issue incorrectly stated that the GW-Maryland basketball game took place on a Saturday. The game was played Monday, Dec. 5.
A Dec. 8 Web extra (“‘Dick and Jane’ have fun with corporate America”) incorrectly stated that the movie opened Dec. 7. It hit screens Dec. 21.
An editorial (Dec. 8, p. 4) erroneously stated that the new Student Association constitution clarifies some bylaws. It does not. In fact, the legislation calls for the dissolution of all current statutes as soon as the Constitution takes effect in January.
