The governing organization of GW’s sororities elected a new executive board this week for the 2006 calendar year.

The entering officers of the Panhellenic Association include junior April Black of Delta Gamma as president; sophomore Liat Kalikow of Kappa Kappa Gamma as executive vice president; and junior Jessica McCarthy of Alpha Phi as vice president of programming.

Additionally, junior Grace Friedberger of Phi Sigma Sigma, sophomore Jackelyn Tannenholtz of Alpha Epsilon Phi, sophomore Colleen Rowley of Delta Gamma and sophomore Melissa Stern and junior Caitlin Bevin Doherty of Sigma Kappa will also serve on the Panhellenic Association Executive Board. The Panhellenic Association’s Executive Board oversees the eight sororities on campus and plans events throughout the year.

This year, the Panhellenic Association voted to expand by adding one sorority on campus next semester.
