Corrections

The article “GW may go out to sea” (Sept. 6, p.1) incorrectly identified the Semester at Sea ship as the MV Express. It’s named the MV Explorer. The name of the group operating the ship is the Institute for Shipboard Education, not the Institution for Shipboard Education.

The story “Ex-student eyed for 9/11 ties” (Sept. 6, p.1) mischaracterized a statement by Amin Al-Sarraf, who was referring to a chaplain’s limited involve

ment in the Muslim Student Association, and not specifically the student’s role in the MSA. Al-Sarraf said he was told that the student did not attend any MSA meetings.

The column “Evolution versus flying spaghetti” (Sept. 6, p. 4) misidentified Bobby Henderson as a University of Oregon student. He attended Oregon State University. Also, the Scopes trial took place in Tennessee, not Kansas.
