Men’s tennis places three on conference team

Seniors Jake Jopling and Matt Treadgold, along with freshman Mustafa Gencsoy, were named to the Men’s Tennis Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team. Gencsoy is the third GW player to earn Most Outstanding Rookie Performer of the Year honors and only one of two freshmen on the squad. The Colonials, St. Bonaventure and Richmond each had three players on the team.

Hostetler named to Womenslacrosse.com honor roll

Sophomore Laura Hostetler is the third GW lacrosse player to be named to the Womenslacrosse.com Weekly Honor Roll this season. Seniors Meghan McDonough and Heidi Mayer have both been named to the roll this year. The GW lacrosse team, which is now in second place in the A-10, hosts St. Mary’s (Calif.) on Friday at 4:00 p.m. The match, at the Mount Vernon Athletic Complex, is the team’s home finale.
