Dayton on tap for GW

The Colonials will head north on Saturday to face Dayton. GW beat the Flyers 82-73 on Jan. 30 at the Smith Center.

Junior Monty Scott (15 points per game) leads Dayton, one of the youngest teams in the A-10. Freshman Warren Williams is a contributor – he torched the Colonials for 18 points in teams’ first meeting. Freshman guard Brian Roberts also has been a major contributor this season.

Coach Brian Gregory has repeatedly voiced concern about his inexperienced squad, which has notched wins over Xavier, St. Joseph’s and Richmond.

GW currently is tied with Dayton (16-8, 9-4 A-1) for the lead in the A-10 West with only two games remaining for the Colonials.
