Burglary

2/5 – Dakota Hall – open case
Three laptops were stolen when the door of a triple was left unlocked.

Destruction

2/2 – Ivory Tower – case closed
While on patrol, a University Police officer found broken glass from a fire extinguisher container and a damaged exit sign on the fourth floor.
No suspects or witnesses

Disorderly Conduct

2/4 – 1957 E St. – 9:31 a.m. – Case Closed
During a 9:30 a.m. fire drill evacuation, a resident cursed and gave the middle finger to a risk management employee.

Drug Law Violation

2/7 – New Hall – 3:45 p.m. – case closed
Four pipes, which tested positive for marijuana, were found during an administrative search. The search was conducted because Community Living and Learning Center staff received a tip about drug paraphernalia.

Harassment

2/7 – Ivory Tower – 9:45 a.m. – case closed
A longstanding dispute between two roommates escalated, leaving one female feeling threatened. One of the roommates was upset because the other roommate’s boyfriend slept over too often. She reported feeling threatened by the boyfriend on the night of the incident, and after he left, the two roommates had a heated discussion.

Liquor Law Violation

2/4 – Thurston Hall – 12:15 a.m. – case closed
Officers responded to a severely intoxicated student in the lobby. When officers arrived, they found him with several abrasions and covered in mud. An evaluation revealed that the student had difficulty speaking, following directions and standing on his own, and he was transported to the GW Hospital emergency room.
