A student reported to University Police that someone stole his credit card from his wallet, purchased a $390 iPod digital music player from the Marvin Center and then returned the credit card to its original place.

A male was upending trashcans and newspaper dispensers on the 2000 Block of G Street. The UPD officers who responded to the incident made him replace the overturned objects.

A male refused the community host’s request to swipe in and cursed at her. The CH contacted UPD, which located the man; he appeared to be intoxicated.

1/22 – Hall on Virginia Avenue 10:15 p.m. – case closed
A suspicious odor led UPD to contact Community Living and Learning Center staff to conduct an administrative search that uncovered a bag with three grams of marijuana. Two pills in an unmarked container were determined to be a controlled substance.

Responding to a noise complaint, UPD found an assortment of alcohol in a room where students were throwing a party. Nine people were present in the room; seven were underage.
