Drug Law Violation

11/23 – Pelham Hall – 9:50 a.m. – case closed
Community Living and Learning Center staff found a small container that tested positive for marijuana.
Referred to Student Judicial Services

11/22 – New Hall – 9:10 p.m. case closed
CLLC found two glass pipes that tested positive for marijuana. CLLC also found several bottles of alcohol.

11/21 – Merriweather Hall 12:41 a.m. – case closed
While walking through the hall, CLLC staff smelled a suspicious odor. CLLC searched the room, and UPD was notified. The search revealed several glass pipes that tested positive for marijuana. Officials found less than one gram of marijuana.

Harassment

11/26 – Off campus – case closed
An unknown individual called a female student on her phone and asked if she would give a body massage to his friend. She originally thought the man was her boyfriend’s father, but she realized it was not, and hung up.
No identifiable subjects

Liquor Law Violation

11/29 – Madison Hall – 1:22 a.m. – case closed
An individual notified UPD of a heavily intoxicated female. UPD responded and found her to be incoherent. EMeRG. and the D.C. fire department were contacted; she was transported to the GW Hospital by ambulance. At the hospital, she said she consumed beer and several shots of hard liquor.

Robbery/Purse Snatch

11/22 – 2000 Pennsylvania Ave. – open case
A GW staff member placed her purse on the back of her chair while having lunch at Bertucci’s. When she got up to leave, she realized her purse was missing and notified Metropolitan Police.

Peeping Tom

11/23 – 900 block of 24th Street 12:48 a.m. – case closed
A female student living off-campus notified UPD that she saw a man through her window. UPD searched the area and found a man who met the description given by the student. The man did not deny being near the female’s house; he said that he was looking for a friend who lived in the area. UPD notified MPD because the individual matched the description of someone previously accused of a peeping tom incident.

Theft

11/21 – Crawford Hall – open case
A resident reported that she was missing two digital cameras worth $270, a docking station and $60 in cash from her room.

Weapons Violation

11/19 – Thurston Hall – 3:30 p.m. – case closed
CLLC staff was anonymously alerted to the presence of drugs in a resident’s room. Upon searching the room, CLLC found alcohol and a hunting knife. They also found a hookah, which tested negative for drugs.
