Audtion Call: GW students wanted to Christmas carol for Dr. Phil, President Bush

GW students will have the opportunity to sing Christmas carols Dec. 12 on a nationally televised program called “Christmas in Washington.” The concert, held at the National Building Museum, will be hosted by Dr. Phil and features performances by Vanessa Williams, LeAnn Rhymes and Ruben Studdard from “American Idol.” President Bush will also be in attendance. The music department is seeking 150 to 200 students of all voice parts with some vocal experience. The performance requires a commitment to four rehearsals, a dress rehearsal and the performance/taping. Interested students should contact Dr. Matthew Mehaffey at [email protected], (202) 994-6338 or B-143 Phillips Hall for a light audition.
