Senate adds new members
The Student Association Senate added five new members in the last two weeks to replace empty positions and expand the governing body.
The Senate appointed Mohammed Ali and Terrill Julien to fulfill vacancies after the resignations of two Graduate School of Medicine and Health Services senators two weeks ago.
The Senate added two students to fill Law School vacancies. Ellen Lin, a first-year student, was appointed to the Academic Affairs Committee, and Jason Stone, a second-year student, was appointed to the Finance Committee.
Freshman Mike Simon was selected deputy chief of staff to replace Charlie Leizear, who was appointed Senate chief of staff last month.
