News and Notes:
The Colonials have lost eight straight games, a season high. The streak equaled the longest in program history. The loss also dropped GW’s record to 4-16 overall and 1-7 in the Atlantic 10.

GW 7, Salem International 3
GW 6, Slippery Rock 5

News and Notes:
Senior Nick Koenemann and freshman Nick Eddy had three goals each in the Colonials win over Salem International. With three wins this weekend, GW improved its record to 7-17 overall.

Swimming and diving

Results from Oct. 23:
The men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams fell to James Madison University. The JMU men defeated the Colonials 132-109 and the women beat GW 125-101.

News and Notes:
Junior Maggie Moss broke a James Madison pool record, winning the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.04.
