Disorderly Conduct

10/17 – Thurston Hall – 8:13 p.m. – case closed

A male student was seen throwing water balloons from his eighth floor window. The complainant worked with Community Living and Learning Center staff to identify the subject’s room; the subject was the only person in the room at the time.
Referred to Student Judicial Services

10/13 – Madison Hall – 11:10 p.m. – case closed

Individuals threw debris, including paper and glass beer bottles, from a first floor window to the construction site between Madison and Funger halls. University Police officers could not determine which room the debris came from.
No suspects

Harassment

9/30 – Thurston Hall – open case
A female student received a call from a man claiming to be her roommate’s uncle; he said he wanted the roommate’s phone number to surprise her. The man called the roommate and asked her personal questions such as her size, looks and sexual history.
No suspects

Hit and Run

10/12 – Ross Hall – 1:20 p.m. – case closed

A Chevy pickup truck was hit in the Ross Hall loading dock parking area. The vehicle’s mirror and window were destroyed.

Liquor Law Violation

10/17 – New Hall – 1 a.m. case closed

CLLC notified UPD of a noise violation; upon arrival, UPD found 23 people drinking, and 18 of them were underage. Two of the subjects were not GW students and were barred from campus. No one present required medical attention.
