Crime Report

Liquor Law Violation

5/11 – Medical Faculty Associates Building – 1:30 a.m.
case closed

An individual waiting for the Mount Vernon shuttle was “clearly intoxicated” and taken to the hospital for treatment.

5/9 – 2109 F St. – 12:54 a.m. – case closed

A University Police officer saw alcohol in plain view after knocking on a door when he heard excessive noise. There were 11 people in the room, including some underage students. Community Living and Learning Center staff poured out the beer and liquor found in the room.

5/7 – Public Space – 1:34 a.m. – case closed

UPD found an underage male student on the 2000 block of G Street lying unconscious on a sidewalk next to a pool of vomit. EMeRG and an ambulance responded to the scene, and the student was treated at the emergency room for excessive consumption of alcohol.

Harassment

5/7 – Public Space – 1:35 a.m. – case closed

A student complained that while she was walking near the 2200 block of H Street, three individuals harassed her by using obscene language. UPD swept the area to try to find the alleged harassers but were unable to find them.

Disorderly Conduct

5/9 – City Hall – 3:00 a.m. – case closed

Three individuals said that someone from City Hall dumped water and beer out of a room and onto them on the sidewalk. UPD could not identify any suspects.

Drug Law Violation

5/11 – Thurston Hall – 12:21 a.m. – case closed

CLLC staff noticed a pipe in a room while searching the hall after students had moved out. The pipe tested positive for marijuana.

5/10 – Mitchell Hall
12:05 a.m. – case closed

CLLC officials said they smelled a suspicious odor emanating from a room. UPD found one subject in the room, who admitted to using marijuana, and confiscated a bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
