Harassment

5/5 – Hall on Virginia Avenue open case

A female HOVA resident received numerous harassing phone calls over an hour-and-a-half period from a subject saying he had a “surprise” for her roommate.

Destruction

5/5 – City Hall – open case

A City Hall resident reported that someone threw a computer printer out of a window and hit the waterspout used to fill the pool.

Pornography

5/4 – Health and Wellness Center – open case

Pornographic images were posted in the men’s shower stall. This is the fifth incident of this type in the last month.

Indecent Exposure

5/4 – Townhouse Row
open case

A female standing on the 600 block of 23rd Street said two men approached her while she was waiting for a food delivery. She said they made gestures toward her and one of them exposed his buttocks.

Robbery

5/4 – Off Campus – 2:15 a.m.

A male and female student reported that they were robbed in Rock Creek Park. They said three males put the male student in a headlock while the other two punched him, causing him to lose consciousness. The female reported that an additional four to six people arrived and kicked her.

Threats

5/2 – Public Space
case closed

An individual outside of Foggy Bottom Grocery made threats to students and the owner of the store. Witnesses said he announced that he would take their money and that he would “blow up the store and kill (the owner) and her coworkers.” MPD barred the individual from the store.

Hit and Run

4/29 – Public Space – 9:04 p.m. case closed

A student driver hit a University employee riding a bicycle at 22nd and H streets. The students fled the scene, but UPD was able to identify the owner and driver of the car. The victim refused medical treatment.

Disorderly Conduct

4/30 – Off Campus – 3:05 a.m. case closed

MPD arrested a male student for underage drinking at Lulu’s New Orleans Caf? at 1217 22nd St.
