The article “Rice expected to sign” (April 8, p. 17) stated that Maureece Rice has had “character issues.” The Hatchet has no knowledge of any such issues with Rice’s character. The instances cited were unconfirmed reports from other news outlets and did not demonstrate any issues with Rice’s character. The Hatchet regrets the use of the term “character issues.”

In the article “Bus. school looks to future” (April 8, p. 3), professor Vanessa Gail Perry was identified as only Vanessa Gail.

The article also stated that a business school committee met about every two weeks since summer 2002 and then released a report in November. The school issued its report in summer 2003.

The article reported that GW’s undergraduate programs in the business school have been ranked in U.S. News and World Report’s Top 50 for the past three years. The programs have been ranked for the past four years.

The business school is also expected to be completely transitioned to its new facility – Duques Hall – by December 2005, not 2006, as reported. The article “GW alters sched.” (April 8, p. 1) stated that Duques Hall should be completed in 2007.
