Simple Assault

1/25 – 3:03 a.m. – Kogan Plaza
open case
A female student reported that two males approached her, and one came up from behind and dropped a condom down the front of her shirt, asking, “What are you doing tonight?”

Robbery/Purse Snatch

1/22 – 12:55 p.m.
Schenley Hall – open case
A female reported that while standing with her back to the street a male came up from behind and snatched her purse from her shoulder. The subject fled the scene in a dark SUV driven by another person.

Disorderly Conduct

1/17 – 1:15 a.m – Pennsylvania House
case closed
A male student kept trying to call and knock on the door of his girlfriend’s room. They got in a fight and were a disturbance to neighbors.

Drug Law Violations

1/25- Thurston Hall – 1 a.m. case closed
University Police discovered 14 underage students in possession of rum, vodka, bourbon and beer. They also confiscated seven grams of marijuana and three pieces of smoking paraphernalia.

1:34 a.m. – case closed
During an administrative search, UPD found four male individuals in possession of marijuana.

Hit and Run

1/16 – Public Space – 9:40 p.m. case closed
A male driver hit a parked silver Toyota on the 2300 block of H Street and fled the scene, claiming he was not aware that he had hit the vehicle. The Toyota sustained damage to the front fender and driver’s side tire. The male driver was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.
