In “Aramark sees business drop” (Nov. 17, p. 1), The Hatchet incorrectly stated that Robert Chernak, SASS senior vice president, said officials are considering a transition to a single food service provider. He said J Street was scheduled for renovations in a few years and accommodations could be made if necessary for retail providers.
Clarifications
The Hatchet stated that Chernak said, “The institution is gong much more toward retail venues.” Chernak was referring to 1957 E St. and the Ivory Towers, not J Street, as implied.
The Hatchet printed that Chernak said Aramark could cut costs by increasing prices. Chernak said he hoped Aramark would not increase costs to make up for shortfalls.
