Senate overlooks student group
SA President Kris Hart announced Tuesday that the initial allocation request for EMeRG, the student-run emergency medical service, was lost somewhere in the legislative process. Hart said University Police Department officials informed him on Monday that EMeRG was not receiving SA funding, which is normally about $7,000.

Hart resolved the issue by proposing an emergency allocation for the group. Sen. Lee Roupas (U-at large) said he was concerned that other student groups who missed the allocations deadline would be unhappy. But Hart said EMeRG and UPD representatives said EMeRG submitted its allocation on time.
