WRGW records Senate meeting
WRGW recorded the Student Association Senate meeting live for the first-time Tuesday night in an effort to increase student accessibility and interaction.

Students heard the proceedings live on the WRGW Web site, www.gwradio.com, and will soon be able to listen to archived copies online.

“It was a very well put together event,” said Matt Stoker, station manager for WRGW. “It went better than we expected. The Senate was very receptive and excited about what we were doing.”

The new live recordings are part of the SA’s new policy of increasing student involvement in representative body. Other measures include launching of the new SA Web site last year and introducing regular Town Hall forums, where students can address SA officials directly about issues concerning them.
