Crime Log

Simple Assault
9/23 – Public Space – 2:26 a.m. – open case
A bottle of water thrown out of a Townhouse Row window struck a male student in the head as he walked on 23rd Street between F and G streets. The student refused medical attention.

Disorderly Conduct
9/26 – Public Space – 2:30 a.m. – case closed
A University Police officer observed a male individual unaffiliated with the University unconscious on the sidewalk of Pennsylvania Avenue. EMeRG and the D.C. Fire Department were contacted. The male regained consciousness, refused medical attention and was allowed to leave the scene.

Drug Law Violation
9/26 – JBKO – 4:40 a.m. – open case
Community Living and Learning staff received a complaint of loud music coming from a room. After knocking on the door several times and receiving no response, they went into the unoccupied room and found marijuana laying out on the coffee table.

9/22 – The Aston – 10:45 p.m. – case closed
UPD responded to a request from CLLC staff who found marijuana in a refrigerator during an administrative search.
Referred to Student Judicial Services

Harassment
9/29 – Thurston Hall – open case
A female student reported to UPD that she received several harassing phone calls from an unidentified male individual.

9/25 – New Hall – case closed
A female student reported that she received calls from an unidentified male individual who told her about his sexual fantasies.
No identifiable suspects

Liquor Law Violation
9/28 – Thurston Hall – 3:50 a.m. – case closed
A male student fell and hit his head on the lobby floor. The D.C. Fire Department was contacted and determined that the student did not need to go to the emergency room and permitted the student to return to his room.

9/28 – Dakota – 1 a.m. – case closed
UPD responded to a report of an alcohol violation and found 26 underage students in a room with alcohol in plain sight.
